Elizabeth Lallatin Price passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013 to celebrate Christmas with her eternal companion Orson Dean Price, daughter Cornelia, son Charles Dean, grandsons Eric Orson, and Stephen, and many others waiting for her return home. Mom was born October 23, 1921 to Charles Julius and Sara Jane Simpson Lallatin in Bedford, Wyoming. She was raised in Soda Springs, Idaho with 4 brothers and 3 sisters, her being the 7th. She is survived by sister Laurel Cooper, and in-laws Vonnie Lallatin, Paul Price, Virgil and Roma Price.
Mom and Dad were married October 22, 1939 and were later sealed for eternity in the Idaho Falls Temple. Together they raised 8 children; Cornelia, Joyce and Dick Jeffs, Dean and Margie, Nancy and Ellis Arnold, Dwaine and Pat, Delwin and Suzanne, Eva Lue and Blake Daniels, David and Jill. They have 26 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and 3 great, great grandchildren.
Mom accomplished much in her 92 years on earth. Her main calling in life was that of service. Service to her family, to her Heavenly Father, to everyone she met. Examples of that service are evident in her relationships and the way she fulfilled each church calling. A challenging yet fulfilling calling was that of full-time missionary in Micronesia Guam with her beloved companion Orson.
Mom will be sorely missed by all her posterity. Her legacy will continue to live on.
Her life will be celebrated at services Friday, December 27, 2013, 1:00 p.m. at the Jordan View Ward, 2320 South 1165 West. Viewings will be held Thursday, December 26, 2013, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Friday at the church, 12-12:45 p.m. Interment, Wight's Fort Cemetery.
