Suzy, I suggest you acquire a map of Idaho, and take a look
at that country. "The Pahsimeroi" as the natives call it,
is a valley, about 25 miles long, through which runs the
Pahsimeroi River, which runs NW and dumps into the Salmon River. The Pahsimeroi Mountains, which are a part of the Lost
River Range, are along the East side of the valley. May is the
ONLY town, except one called Patterson, which sprang up when a
mine opened in the area. I cannot find if Patterson has a cem., but I doubt it, or it would be listed somewhere. Also,
the East side of the river is in Lemhi Co. (no townships in
Idaho, except for surveys), the West side in Custer Co. Both
villages are in Lemhi Co. The only cemeteries, except for
May, are Challis and Salmon.
Go to Google, type "Pahsimeroi" and see what you get. You,
being a 'flat lander (I think!!) will be astounded. That
country is NOT flat!!
