When you post it is very important to fully identify what you know about the person you are seeking. If you have their date/place of birth that is extremely helpful to volunteers. If not, information about their family, siblings, where you believed they lived, etc. If you already have information from the US Census, that helps also.

In this case, I found your family tree posted on Ancestry.com. Joseph Lecours and his wife Josehte Miner, are included. Their son, John Baptiste Lecours, was shown as being born in 1824 in Riqaud, Quebec and died in 1904 in Hawkesbury, Ontario.

You posted this query on the Custer County, Idaho board. There would not be any information on him in Idaho, if your facts are correct. You will need to repost in those areas of Canada.
