Custer county. My grandmother was always talking about growing up in Custer county. Her husband was Ivan. She was a Brown who's father was a mine attorney I believe (I don't remember his name). She had two sisters Hazel and another I don't recall. Her mother was a O'Halleran (sp?) from New Orleans. Her parents moved to Challis after their tin shop burned down. I believe they ran or lived in a hotel with their daughter and son-in-law. My grandmother's name was Helen Blume (Brown) and they had three boys. Milt and Ted and Ray. The name of a fellow names Jewels Blume I think came up a number of times. Any info on the Blume's, Brown's or O'Halleran's would be greatly appreciated.
