PRESTON — George R. Stanger, 67, a lifelong Preston resident, passed away peacefully in his home on Aug 22, 2012, from natural causes. George was born on Sept. 27, 1944, in Lewiston, Utah, to Gwyneth Elaine Hendricks and Dell R. Stanger. He graduated from Preston High. He lived and worked on the family farm and worked for U&I Furniture for 36 years.

He was a wonderful person and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his children, Devin George and Amanda Jill, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild, and his three sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

There will be a private memorial service at a later date.
