PRESTON — Ralph Tillotson Keller, 65, passed away Jan. 14, 2013, after an extended battle with cancer. He was born Oct. 20, 1947, in Preston, Idaho, the son of Parmer B. and Dorothy Tillotson Keller. He served his country in the Army National Guard during the Vietnam conflict.
He married Victoria Lyn Barthlome on Sept. 17, 1969, in Preston, Idaho. They lived over the years in Idaho, Mississippi, Colorado, California, Georgia and Texas. He was a heavy duty equipment supervisor and worked for Brown & Root, Washington Construction and Asphalt Specialties. He loved hunting, camping and horses. He was a cowboy at heart and a big John Wayne fan.
He is survived by his wife, Victoria of Preston; son James Ryan (Marybeth) Keller of Murray, Utah; daughter Torri Lyn (Mike) Rutherford of Logan, Utah; five grandchildren; and five brothers and one sister, Charles (Carol) Keller of Ogden, Utah, Mike (Pam) Keller of California, David Keller of Franklin, Idaho, Steven (Rebecca) Keller of Farmington, Utah, Laura Varley of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Robert (Diane) Keller of Centerville, Utah. He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy T. Keller.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 S. 800 East in Preston, Idaho. Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the National Kidney Foundation.
