Rory Brent Edwards passed away May 22, 2013 in Preston, Idaho, at Franklin County Medical Center succumbing to a long fight with brain cancer. Rory was born June 18, 1979 in Orange, Calif., to Brent and Diane Edwards. His nurses called him the “Hulk”. His siblings are Brendian Edwards Seymour and Heath Asa Edwards.
His grandparents are Dennis and Ruby Edwards and Doug and Yvonne Clair. Great-grandparents are Felix and Viola Edwards.
Some of Rory’s many activities included drawing (he was a gifted artist), skim boarding (he made the skim boards), surfing, skin diving, flashlight tag, frisbee tag, gourmet cooking, BMX riding, entertaining his friends as a comedian and doing magic tricks.
He enjoyed going shooting with Brendian and her husband Jared. He made canes. He was a roofer and a tile setter.
One family story is of him learning karate as an eight year old and then charging his cousins a quarter to teach them.
He loved his dog, Muska, who he had trained very well. Muska preceded him to Heaven.
Rory was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved studying about Joseph Smith. He was devoted to his family.
