Larry H. Harris came into the world July 1, 1938, in his Grandmother’s home on Williams Creek in Cleveland, Idaho, which is near Thatcher, Idaho. Larry joined the National Guard Unit in Preston, Idaho before graduating from High School. When Larry and Sharen moved to Bear Lake he was transferred into the Army Reserve Unit in Montpelier, Idaho. He graduated from Grace High and then was hired by Union Pacific Railroad. One weekend he rode the train to his Aunt and Uncle’s home where he met Sharen Ward.
