Rex B Henderson, 81, passed away on June 26, 2013 at his home in Riverside, Utah. He was born on Jan. 10, 1932 in Preston, Idaho to Lawrence C Henderson and Marguerite Bingham. He grew up in Clifton, Idaho attending elementary, junior high and high school in Clifton. Rex was a very hard and conscientious worker; loved by everyone and contributed much to the family of seven. Brothers and sisters were Rayola (Reese) Mickelson, Margaret (Vee) Van Leuven, Shirley (Ruel) Keller, John (Barbara), Joann (Bill) Pattis and Blair (Delora) Winward.

Rex worked for AT&T for many years in Salt Lake City and eventually moved to Tucson, Arizona. Because of health concerns he later moved to Riverside, Utah to live near his son and lived there until his death.

Rex has six children: Rod (Pam) Henderson, Larry Henderson, Tracy Henderson, Cindy Forsyth, Wendy Safford and Ray (Wendy) Henderson. He has 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Rex had many friends and classmates who loved his happy lifestyle. Rex was the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back. He was a wonderful, loving father which his kids thought the world of. He was very respectful of others and taught his kids to be the same. He would always tell friends and strangers alike, “howdy” with a smile. Rex had a love for poodles and he raised many for years. He enjoyed being a part of the “Mustanger’s” horse riding club. In his later years he enjoyed watching old western movies and playing cards. He will be dearly missed.

There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m., Monday, July 1, 2013 at the Riverside, Utah cemetery. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.rogersandtaylor.com
