WESTON, IDAHO — Carol Ann Smith McLain, 60, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at the Franklin County Transitional Care Center in Preston, Idaho. She was born Nov. 28, 1953, in Nampa, Idaho, to Jack and Ruth Vurgess Smith. She married Larry McLain on June 13, 1998, in Grace, Idaho.
Carol loved the outdoors. She enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as camping with her family during the summer. She loved the time she was able to spend with her family and was a good cook and loved to make use of her cooking talents for her family.
She is survived by her husband, Larry, of Weston; three sons: Joshua (Shane) Anderson, Jeremiah Anderson, and Raymond Anderson; two grandchildren; five sisters: Roberta (George) Shimer, Judy (Gene) Gaddo, Marvel (Bob) Boydston, Rita (Mike) Butler and Linda Jack; and two brothers: Robert (Linda) Hosford and Bud Hosford.
