A fellow researcher of mine got a copy of Sarah's death certificate the other day. It states that her birth date is Oct. 9th 1851. If you look in the census records they all indicated she was born in or around 1851. Also the 1900 census also states she was born in Oct. 1851. I am not sure where the 1847 date comes from.
