Many thanks for this information which confirms some of the information I already had but fills in some of the gaps too. And I think makes us 4th cousins once removed!

When Sarah left England with her youngest children she left behind her eldest six or seven children as they were either married already or in employment. Her eldest, Francis did follow her out later with his family, but I'm not sure about all the others.

I have also tracked her family back another five generation to the early 1600s. They were still in Nottinghamshire, which is my home county, so if you need to know anything about her earlier life or the rest of the family, just let me know.
