GOODING - Mary E. Chittock, 92, of Gooding, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1987, in Green Acres Care Center in Gooding.
Born Sept. 12, 1895, in North Platte, Neb., she moved with her family at the age of 10 to Ashton, where she attended schools. She married Harry Chittock May 30, 1914, in Ashton. They farmed there and at Green Timber, Idaho, moving to Gooding in 1932, where they farmed until 1944. In 1944 Mr. Chittock retired and they moved to Goble, Ore. He died in 1974 and she moved to Gooding, where she had resided since .
She was a member of the Gooding First Christian Church, an honorary member of the North Side Community Club, a member of the Beaver Home Grange in Goble and the Gooding Grange No. 138.
Surviving are two daughters, Emma Puderbough of Newport, Ore., and May Quiggle of Gooding; a son, John Chittock of Kimberly; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Demaray's Gooding Chapel with the Rev. Harold Hake officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Friends may call at the chapel in Gooding Sunday from 1 to 7 p.m.
