I did, at last, find the family of Fred Salisbury in the 1940 census of Kootenai Co.,ID. We were on Hwy 95, in the Squaw Bay Election Precinct.
Out of political correctness, Squaw Bay was renamed Neachen Bay. I'm looking for a 1940 road map to narrow the location of Hwy 95.
Oh, if anyone can give me the background of the name "Neachen", & when the name was changed, I'd appreciate that.
