Well I doubt that is true unless he was in the Battle at WhiteBird.
Joesph was a non-combatent unless the village was under attack, there were a lot of misconceptions about him and he was said to be in a lot of places that he was not.
I have a list of his descendents, but am still not sure that we are related, but we do know that we are related to Chief James.
