FIELDING, Utah — Mary “Jeanine” Parry Kent, 80, wonderful mother, grandmother , great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at her home in Fielding, Utah. Jeanine was born on April 9, 1932, to George K. Parry and Mary Jane Jones in Malad, Idaho. She was raised in a happy home. As a child she enjoyed learning to work with her siblings and her dad cleaning at the Malad High School. She graduated from Malad High School in 1950, with valedictorian honors.
She married Dan N. Kent on August 25, 1950, in Malad, Idaho.
She is survived by her children, Richard Dan (MerLynn) Kent, Fielding Utah, Jeffry P. (Myrna) Kent, Tremonton, Utah, Pamela Mellon, Fielding, Utah, Colleen Reott, Garland, Utah; 19 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren with two on the way. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, EmoLou Parry, Malad, Idaho, and brother-in-law, James N. Kent, Spokane, Washington; and very special nieces and nephews of many generations.
Funeral services will be held at noon Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at the Fielding Stake Center, 4375 W. 15600 N., Fielding, Utah. A viewing will be held on Monday, January 21, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 N. 100 E., Tremonton, Utah. A viewing will also be held prior to the funeral from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Fielding Stake Center.
