A Camera Eye on Idaho by Arthur Hart states, "Charles C. Hedum, a Norwegian, was Silver City's last resident photographer. He was only twenty when he joined Allen K. Bishop, aged twenty-seven, in a brief partnership in the old mining camp, then in its last days of major activity. Hedum carried on the business alone well into the teens of the new century." And, in the chronological list in the back of the book, he said Hedum & Bishop - 1898.
