Sarah Haskell Dies In Hospital After Illness
Mrs. Sarah Horn Haskell, 74, Rockland, Idaho, passed away at Power County Hospital in American Falls, Sept. 28, 1967, following a short illness.
She was born Jan. 31, 1893 at Sublett, Idaho, a daughter of ? and Persis Mores ? Horn. She attended school in Sublett, and there met Raymond Levi Haskell. They were married November 5, 1912 in the Logan LDS Temple.
They took up a homestead in Sublett and farmed there until ? when they moved to Rockland. Mrs. Haskell was very active in the Relief Society, and was always a loving and devoted mother and wife.
Survivors include her husband,; sons, Alvin and Daniel Haskell, Rockland, Idaho; Ivan, ? and Carl, all of American Falls, four daughters, Mrs. Lloyd ? Moss, Jackson, Wyoming; ? Gilbert (Ada) Wangsgard, ?, Utah; Mrs. Edward ? Porath, Rockland, Idaho; Mrs. Theron (Lola) Stokes, Rexburg, Idaho; two brothers, ? and Clarence Horn, Burley, Idaho, two sisters, Lavira ?. Porterville, Utah, and ? Olson, Burley, Idaho; 31 grandchildren and ? great grandchildren.
Funeral services were condcuted Monday Oct. 2, at 1 p.m. at the Rockland LDS Chapel with Bishop Melvin Munk officiating. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery in Rockland.
