Going over the suggested reading list, I wonder why Grace Jordan's book King's Pines of Idaho about the Carl Brown family was not included.

The name of old gold mining community north of McCall, to old timers, was Warren's or Warrens, not Warren. Used to be able to tell old residents of area from newcomers by the way they said name of town. Now it is always Warren.

My great uncle Lewis Heacock was one of the first to settle along lake--west of town of McCall. My family lived in McCall for 90 years.
