Sharon, do you know exactly where the old stage road that went thru High Valley ran? Where did it come down into Long Valley? I've read about the road and been over the area a great deal horseback but have always been a little confused. When we had a ranch at Indian Valley, on returning from trips to Emmett or Boise would often take the Ola road and then the Sheep Creek road home.

Do you know when Highway 55 was built along the river? Seems to me the railroad came into Long Valley in about 1914.
