Classification: Query
Surnames: TOWNER, FAULKNER
David M. TOWNER, b. about 1838 - place unknown - married 29 Jan 1857 in Boone County, IL to Louisa N. FAULKNER, b. 1839 in Macoupin or Bond County, IL, to Felix and Rebecca (HUNT) FAULKNER. I believe this couple may have migrated to Cook County, IL around 1870. David was listed as a private in Company B, 12th IL inf. during the Civil War.
This is the sum total of my information on David and Louisa; however, I have volumns of FAULKNER family information to share with any of their downline.
Any help, however slight, would be greatly appreciated. Help be reunite Louisa with her siblings!
Louisa FAULKNER Towner was the oldest of 7 children, orphaned at the age of 20 years. She and David Towner were already married when her father, Felix FAULKNER died in 1859 in Washington County, IL, and her siblings were reared in Macoupin & Washington Counties in IL. Twenty years of research has resulted in locating the descendency of the other 6 children including pictures of 5 of these siblings. Louisa is still missing! Please help me place her with her siblings. You may email me direct at judy@abcs.com with any possible leads not suitable for this particular sight. Anxious (very anxious) to hear from you.
