Surnames: Herren / Toll/ Tole
I am searching for the parents of Elizabeth (Toll) born aout 1813 Ky, who married Milton Herren and in 1850 census they are in ISR2W Cooperstown twp, Brown Co, Ill. By family stories, her father was C.W.C. Tole but he is too young. He is born in 1806 Kentucky. Possibly a brother of her? Has anyone done any research for this Toll/Tole family of Kentucky? Elizabeth (Toll) Herren seems to have died about 1959. Her husband remarrried and had a second family, in Lewis Co., Kentucky. He lives till about 188 3 inMower's Preceinct #1, P. O. Cabin Creek, Lewis Co, Ky. when his deed to his land was turned over to his son Daniel Herren
