Mrs. Jacqueline Gay Haney Copeland, 76, formerly of Dobson, NC, passed away on Thursday March 20, 2008 at Creekside Manor in Kernersville after years of declining health.

She was born in Beardstown, Illinois to the late Robert M. and Orral Gladys Sivley Haney.

Survivors include a son, David O’Brian of Florida; a sister and brother-in-law, Lyla Haney West and husband George of Lakewood, Florida; a brother-in-law, William “Bill” and wife Lucy Copeland of Greensboro.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Copeland was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Copeland; a brother, Robert Edward Haney and a sister, Joan Roberta Haney Howells.

A memorial service will be held at Creekside Manor at a later date. Special thanks to the staff of Creekside Manor and Forsyth County Hospice and Palliative Care for the excellent care and tender love given to Mrs. Copeland during her stay there.
