Am looking for family history information on the family of Solomon STEIN, who was married to a Babette HIRSCH. Solomon and Babette emigrated to the U.S. from Bohemia or Sudatenland (now Czech Republic), sometime around 1860. They lived in Cook County, in Chicago, and owned a starch company. They had the following STEIN children: Will, Edwin, Sidney, Charlie, Arthur, Emma, Viola, Minnie, Eda, and Leo STEIN (b. 1866, d. 1918) m.1. Eda LISINSKY/LEZINSKI (probably spelled variously, d. in 1897?), and m.2. Gerda GOLDFRANK (b. 1876, d. 1953).
