hi kay....walter Garriott comfirmed on 1995 after a trip to va/ that John Lillard Garriott b. abt 1775 in Cullpepper va. married elizabeth Cornelious dec/30/1801 in madison co. Culpepper, Va thier son zachariah King Garriott is my g-g-grandfather and he was born 9/18/1804 and an Amanda Garriott b. 8-23-1820 which we assume is Zack's sister. Zackariah married Rhoda Blankenbaker April 7, 1828 .in madison co. Va..and had 7 children that i have names thru Zach's obit....hope this helps and you will share if you find out anymofe....thank you , wish you well.
