I am researching the Peter Jones/Mary Branson family that moved from Rush Co. Indiana to De Witt Co., some as early as 1831. Names related to these families are Jones, Michaels, Bayless, and many others. At present I'm not aware of who all stayed in Indiana and who moved to De Witt Co.

Mary Branson Jones died in De Witt 1846
Children are Sarah, Keziah Isham, Andrew, Catherine, Jemima, Anna, Malinda Bayless, John Branson Jones, Matilda Jones, and Mary Michaels. I am aware of the biography material online. Hoping to connect with other researchers! By the way, I believe my gg grandparents are buried in DeWitt Co, as they lived around Waynesville. They are Wm. Henry Michaels and Mary (Jones) Michaels
