Hi Edd,

I am very interested in learning more about this HIll family, myself. Solomon Hill (b.1842) was married to a great-grand aunt, Hester Ann McDonald. They had eight children that I know of. One of them, William Scott Hill, actually married another grand-aunt of mine- Hester Cole, in 1906. Information on the death of Solomon Hill that I have is that he is buried in Duncan Cemetery in Keyesport. I don't have a death date, but they are found in the 1900 census in Bond County.

What more can you tell me about the Hill's? On Nathaniel Hill's(b. 1837) marriage record in Bond County to Mary Frances Smith on 4/29/1882- yet another relation to me- he said that his parents were Solomon Hill and Margaret McLearen and he was born in Licking Co., OH. I would love to know more, because I think the McLearens and McDonalds have ties. The McDonald family has been a big brick wall for me.

Thanks for any help.
