I am looking for birth information on Leatha Vida Mae St. Claire. Leatha was born Sept. 12, 1901 in Lewistown, Illinois. Her parents appear to be Henry and Sarah (Hutton) St. Clair It is possible that she was adopted but I can't seem to trace her back further than the 1910 census for Lewistown, Illinois. At that time she was living with her grandparents Benjamin and America Hutton. Sarah Hutton St. Clair died in 1903 or 1904, Henry later married someone else and I have no further info on him. If anyone has the ability to discover how to acquire her birth certificate or adoption information I would be so appreciative. It is possible that she was adopted from the Blackfoot indian tribe.
