Portrait and Biographical Album of Jo Daviess and Carroll Counties, Illinois has a biography of Alfred Thacher, with additional information about his wife Elizabeth Leverton.

Elizabeth's parents were John Leverton, son of JFL, who married Mary
Thurman in Fayette County, OH on 2 Sep 1813. He and Mary lived in Ohio
until 1829, according to the book, when they moved to Fulton County, IL. It
says that Elizabeth, born in Highland County, OH on 5 May 1819, was third in birth order. It also says of John Leverton that "He was the father of a family of ten children, five sons and five daughters."

I have identified only 5 of the 10 children:
1. Elizabeth, 5 May 1819-19 July 1899
2. Mary M. Leverton, 18 May 1833-25 Feb 1895, who mar. David Hixson
and moved to Taylor Co, IA
3. William Leverton, b. abt 1835
4. Sarah Leverton, mar. Jerome Walling
5. Lucy C. Leverton, mar. John Schick

The last 2 daughters are conjecture; they married in Fulton County and
John's was the only Leverton family in the county.

Can anyone identify the other 5 children? I'd be grateful for any help.
