Surnames: Williams, Waggoner
My Williams family was in that area in 1824-1835. My Peter Williams came to Hancock County (Commerce, now Nauvoo) and later moved to the other side of the Mississippi to Ft. Madison Iowa. Perhaps there was an island on the River near Ft Madison at the time?
