Hi! My name is Shirley Leanna. I am trying to find the date of death for my ancester, Abraham Pennington Casey. He died in 1841 or 1842 in Missouri. I have found in books of Jefferson County that he was visiting his son, John Clarke Casey in Ripley, now Oregon County Mo. His family was still in Jefferson County Illinois. His wife was Nancy Baker Casey and she is buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Mt. Vernon. His Son, Franklin Smith Casey and Wife, Rhoda are also buried at Pleasant Grove. I have been unable to find where he is buried or the exact date of his death. I would appreciate your assistance. Thank you!
