I am a decendant of Bennett and Lucinda Reffett Lake's daughter, Elizabeth Lake and her husband James Polk Lake. I know all of these people settled in Illinois but not where they came from. I know where James Polk Lake, Susannah wife of Joseph Reffit, another Susanna Reffit, a James Lake, and a Greenberry Lake are buried. I don't have any information on Bennett and Lucinda's parents. I also don't have any information on who James's parents were or where they were from. I do know that James had a brother Daniel, I've found him, and I think they had a sister, Sarah Lake and a brother William Lake. Can anyone help me?
