George W. Mathews is my gggrandfather. I know he was born November 1827 in Illinois. (Checking back in my files Sarah was George's wife not Benjamin-SORRY-my mistake.) George lived awhile in Dallas, Texas where my ggrandmother Annie V. was born on 25 March 1867. In 1885 Annie V. Mathews and Robert H. DeWolf were married in Kansas (my ggrandparents). I saw a George W. Mathews listed with Benjamin who was about the right age and born in Illinois. Benjamin was born in Virginia which is what I have down for my George W. Mathews. Do you have anything on George W. Mathews?
