Hi! I first want to say that you have did some excellent work on finding information about Archibald Campbell and his family. Archibald Campbell would be my great-great-great grandfather and his son John would be my great-great grandfather. I have been working on my genealogy for a bit. I have lot of the information that you have shared but there are
bits and pieces that you have shared that I don't have. Hoping that I can return the favor. I live within 15 miles or so of where
Archibald Campbell farmed. The house I believed that he had lived in is gone but is not far from there where he and Elizabeth are buried. I have a ton of stuff that I have gathered from the last 15 years or so. Unfortunately, I do not have it very well organized. That is because every time I go researching I find more information then I can keep up with. If I can get this organize maybe we can share what we have to complete the picture. Also, Thomas McClurg would be a great ? ? grandfather to me. I have, I think, Thomas and his wife's death dates. Thomas McClurg is buried in the South Cemetery in Saybrook, Illinois. He served during the Civil War
but was discharged to disability. I say South Cemetery but it may be actually Riverside Cemetery. My dad's family is from Saybrook and we have always called it the South Cemetery.
Hope you are still interested.
