I have conflicting information about Samuel Beeler. Hopefully you can help me out.

Is this the same Samuel Beeler, born in 1760 in Virginia, son of Samuel Beeler & Amelia Hurst (grandson of Christopher Beeler & Elizabeth Schule)?

According to the "History of Washington Co., PA" by Boyd Crumrine, there is a Samuel Beeler, Sr. who settles in Washington Co., PA in 1774 near Candor and he establishes "Beeler's Fort". Samuel Beeler, Sr and his son Samuel Beeler, Jr. lived there until 1789.

I have seen information posted that states that Samuel Beeler, Sr. moved his family to Kentucky in 1768, and his children George, John, Christopher, Mary & Elizabeth are born in Fayette Co, KY.

Any help would be appreciated.
