I'm looking for any information on a family named Easling that resided in Keithsburg, Mercer Co. Il, between the years of 1840- 1885. Jared Easling and Mary Ross Easling are listed in the 1850 census with a son or nephew by the name of William. William served in Civil War - Co. "G", 30th Illinois infantry. Family info has William as a nephew to Jared Easling, who raised him after his mother died in mid 1840's. Looking for father or mother's name of William, also, if Jared Easling's family remained in Mercer Co. after 1865.
