Hi Pat: You were mentioning Frances B. Herriott and Caroline Herriot. I am thier descendant throught Amanda Herriott b: Union Co. Ohio in 1844. Frances and Carolline were on the 1840 Census in Mercer Co., Pa with two sons under the age of 5. One of those sons was Ephraim b: 1840. I do not know the name of the other son or male who was with them then. They then were next found on the 1850 C. in Union Co. Ohio. There the children were, Ephraim, Amanda, Frances Caroline and Albert. I find not other Record of Frances B. Herriott after that. However Caroline Herriott married Erastus Lucas in 1858 and she was listed as being intermarried to Frances B. Herriott when her Fathers estate was settled in 1852. This means that Frances B. either died or they were divorced between 1852 and 1858. I have a lot of the Descendants of Frances and Caroline if you are interested. If Amanda had any half brothers or sisters, it was never mentioned by my Grandmother. Jane Dyer
