I'm working on genealogy research my father started some years ago and am looking for documents that show:
James C. Perkins is son of Issac Perkins and Jane Barker;
Marriage record or some other document that shows Isaac and Jane were married;
Document that shows Jane Barker is daughter of Lewis Barker.

James C. Perkins, my gg grandfather, would have been 2-3 months old when Isaac Perkins was killed in 1832.

In the 1850 Tazewell County census, James C. Perkins (age 18) is listed in the Thomas & Sybil (Perkins) McKasson household, along with Jane Perkins (age 53.)

James married Mary J. McKaine (or McCain) in Tazewell. Their daughter, Harriet Jane "Hattie" was my gg grandmother.

I've found the Isaac Perkins probate records in 1832 & 1834, but they do not list family members (other than his bbrother Elisha filed them and was administrator).

Thanks for any help.
