I'm not in Waverly nor is my uncle at present, but I've requested a friend to see if their is a burial notice in the Waverly Journal...Claud did not die in Morgan Co but there my be a burial notice which may give something as he was buried in Waverly East Cemetery.

From what I can piece together from other family obits via Newsbank is Claud married Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Schoon the daughter of Herman Schoon and Dora Schlimmer/Schimmes (I've seen the name both ways) of Woodford Co IL. You can find her as Elizabeth on 1920. Both of her parents passed pre the 1930 census (Ancestry has death record transcripts for both parents: Herman E Schoon 6 Aug 1868 Germany, passed 10 June 1927 Cazanovia, Woodford Co IL and Dora Schlimmer Schoon 24 April 1883 Iowa, passed 18 July 1924 Washburn, Woodford Co IL)

(**as a side note, Betty's sister Meta Dorothy , who married a Lyle Snead also has a obit)

Elizabeth/Betty appears to have married twice more, first a Stilley then to John Kinzer. Betty moved to Ft Wayne, Allen Co Indiana and this is where she died on 4 march 1993.

Claud and Betty had daughters Jacqueline 'Jackie' 19 Oct 1934, passed 23 Jan 2000 married DeSutter; Cloryne 12 Aug 1936, passed 26 Dec 1999 married a Lutes, and sons William H 1938, passed just this month Dec 2011 (not on SS# role as of yet), Gerald 19 July 1940, passed 5 June 1987 and Robert L 28 May 1942, passed 26 April 1996.

If my request from friend for a burial notice comes in it may or may not show place and marriage date for Claud. Place was likely Woodford, Tazewell or Peoria Co IL roughly 1933ish if you'd like to look for a marriage certificate.

You can also look for request links via the Allen Co IN rootsweb site and also try the Metemora IL library or a volunteer with access to Peoria IL's paper films. Some of the areas ran obits for both IL and IN on this family.

Here is a link to Betty Kinzer's memorial on Find A Grave along with an obit :

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=ki...;

if link does not work, google Find-A-Grave and when there enter Betty Kinzer for Allen Co IN
