I bought this terrific book about this little town written about 1978-80. There are 560 pages of information and pictures of school graduating classes, churches, men n the military, photos of folks in the train depot, nurses, layout of the original town with the owners of lots, photos of police, teachers, basketball teams, Sunday School classes, janitors, member of the children's Audubon Society holding their birdhouses, race cars, quilters, cemetery headstones, farm equipment and more.
The only drawback is that there is no index to this terrific book. I believe it would be an excellent resource to anyone with family in Hopedale.
