Carlock in Dongola, Union Co. Is this the same James Carlock that you are researching? Any info would be appreciated.

There are several James Carlock's in Union County. Julianne Poole married James Calvin Carlock in Union County in 1871. She was James Calvin's second wife.

Now, I personally know nothing about Julianne except that she married J.C. Carlock. Could you fill me in? I have found an 1870 cnesus entry for a househuold in Union County, headed by Julianne Poole, age 30, born in NC. Is this the same Julianne?

The James Carlock I am looking for was born 1872 in Dongola and was son of Lindsey Hegensted Carlock. Lindsey seems to have been the son of James Calvin Carlock and Isabelle Littleton

I am still following up on the Children of Lindsey Hempstead Carlock. My grandfather was Bema Anthony Carlock born in Dongola in 1905.His parents were Dora Swink and James A. Carlock. I believe that Lindsey was the father of James A.

My grandmother was Edith Esther Carlock, born Dogola 1902. In some old photos of hers I beleive that there is a photo in which one young man, probably teenager, is named Bema Carlock. Would you like a copy if I could arrange it? Might ake a few months as photos are currently 1000 miles away from me.
