I remember Oma Moore's greenhouse very well. We lived on south street and when my brother graduated from high school in 1940 he went to her florist shop and she made him a corsage for his date for the prom. I was younger and we used to go to the high school and watch them come to the prom. I always thought I would do that some day but we moved in 1943 and I never did go to the prom in Anna.
Jacob Calvin Peeler was a son of Abraham and Amy Poole Peeler. Abraham came to Johnson Co. around 1840 as you said. He was a brother of my gr gr grandfather, John Peeler, who came to Johnson Co a little later.Olive Wilhelm
