Thank you! I transcribed it for the benefit of a Childers researcher using the search utility:

Mrs. Geo Childers, 88 Dies; Funeral Here Tomorrow

Mrs. Bunie V Childers, 88, of 608 N. 17th Street, Herrin, died in her home yesterday at 6:30 am. She had been ill with pneumonia for three weeks.

She was born in Tennessee on January 8, 1855 and has been a resident of Herrin for 39 years.

She is survived by her children: Jesse Childers of Johnston City, Elmer Childers of Toledo, Ohio, Don Childers of Herrin, A. N. Childers of Carterville, Mrs. May Martin of Herrin and Mrs. Ethel Puskala of Seaside, Oregon.

The deceased's husband, George W. Childers, and one son preceded her in death.

Funeral Services will be held at the residence tomorrow. Interment will take place in the city cemetery.

Notes from my research:

She was born Buena Vista Freeman, probably in Robertson County, to Matthew Freeman, b. 1778/79 in North Carolina, d. after 1860, and Caroline Benson, b. 1816/17 in Tennessee, d. after 1860 also. Caroline's first husband was a Mr. Appleton. Matthew had an unknown number of wives before Caroline.

Buena Vista is an odd but not unique name. She evidently went by a nick name that may have sounded like "Bunny" or "Bway-nee".

She was born Jan 1852 on the 1900 census. That seems to have been a mistake. She is born 1855-ish on the rest:
1860: 6 (1853/1854)
1880: 25 (1854/1855)
1900: Jan 1852
1910: 54 (1855/1856)
1920: 66 (1853/1854)
1930: 75 (1854/1855)
1940: 85 (1854/1855)

Son A N was saddled with "Aljenon" or "Algernon" at birth and used "A N" most of his life. More than one set of parents have named their son something exotic ("Carlyle", for example) and found out when he came home from boot camp that everyone now called him "Chuck".

The son who preceded her was Gillie Matthew, b. 1873, whose death record I don't have yet.
