The older Andrew J. Baggett was my gg-grandfather. His first wife (the younger Andrew J.'s actual mother) was named Catharine. She died during or shortly after the Civil War. Elizabeth was his second wife and first shows up with him on the 1870 Giles County, Tennessee, census.

I have never known Elizabeth's name prior to marrying Andrew J. (the elder one). Where did you get names Burton/Owton?

Also ... do you have any records of the generation prior to the older Andrew J. Baggett?
