Most of the 1890 census burned in 1921 and I did not find the Spires' in the 1880 census. No other Spires' married in Montgomery county.

Several Elliott's listed as Rebecca but no Belle or Isabella born Ohio about 1858.

I believe I found Henry Spires in Morgan county in the 1850 record transcribed as Heny Spenes. You will find the below listed as Spires in the 1870 Franklin, Morgan Co IL census except for Henry who I did not find in 1870 at appx age of 29 .
