Looking for information on Dewey F. Ray, son of Jasper Ray, and Almira Eubanks. Also, information on his brother, Louie Ray.

Obituary of Dewey F. Ray; Name of newspaper, and date are missing:
"Dewey F. Ray, 83, of Mt. Vernon, died Monday, September 7, 1981 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
"Mr. Ray was born in Franklin county to Jasper Ray and Almina (s/b Almira) Eubanks.
"He was a member of the Boilermakers Union Local 363, East St. Louis, Mt. Vernon Moose Lodge, Eagle Lodge and American Legion.
"He was also a World War I veteran of the Army, and a graduate of the St. Louis University Law School.
"He was first married to Lee Todd Schwartz in 1924 and she died September 29, 1953.
"He later married Vallie Drunan Taylor and she survives, along with 2 daughters. Mrs. Patricia Forsythe, of Mt. Vernon, and Mrs. Claradel Howard of Bonnie, 1 grand daughter and 1 great grandson,1 step son,Wendel Taylor of Mt. Vernon, 4 step grandchildren and 8 step great grandchildren.
"He was also preceded in death by 1 step son, L. E. Schwartz, 4 brothers, 3 sisters, and his parents.
"Services will be Thursday 1:30 p.m. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon with Rev. Bess Hart officiating.
"Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Wednesday.
"Burial will be in Betheny Memorial Cemetery, in Mt. Vernon."

One source of information gave us the names of two daughters, as Polly and Radella. and stated that he had no children by his 2nd wife, Vallie Drunan Taylor.

I met Dewey and his brother, Louie once in the late 1940's when my grandmother passed away. Dewey and Louie were sons of Jasper Ray, and Almira Eubanks. Almira was the sister of my grandmother, Nancy Elizabeth Eubanks (Hill); they were the children of William Smith Eubanks, and Mary Matilda "Matilda" Eubanks, cousins.

I have been unable to find the name of Louie's wife. It was not readable in the 1930 Census of Franklin Co., IL, and I'm unable to find the marriages of either Dewey or Louie Ray.

Can anyone help me straighten out the above? All help will be appreciated.
