I had a great-aunt Hilma Lager, born in Kristberg, Östergötlands län (Östergötland), Sweden on 29 May 1881. She emigrated with her family (Alfred and Emelie Amalia were the parents) and three older siblings on 17 Apr 1882. They settled in Geneseo, Illinois. She died 6 May 1965 and is buried in the Oakwood Cemetery in Geneseo. She never married as far as I know or can find. She appears in the 1900 through 1940 censuses living in Geneseo as Hilma Lager. My parents and I visited her on one of her siblings in Geneseo in 1957 but I don't remember her nor can I find a family photo from that trip. I have scans of documents related to her emigration, a studio photograph of her as a young woman and a photo of her grave marker.
