Wm and Sarah Bentley had ten children, including: Calvin William Howe Bentley, b. 16 May 1832 in Butler, OH; d. 7 Jul 1888 in Rearden, Lincoln, WA; married 20 May 1856, in Greensburg, IN, to Margaret [misspelled] J Black, b. 17 Mar 1837 in IN; d. 7 May 1919 in Spokane, WA. Another son of Wm and Sarah Bentley was [mangled spelling]: Apelphus [sic, Apelphus] G. BENTLEY, b. 10 Mar 1822, prob. In OH; d. 1855 in Decatur, IN; married (1) Mary Petigrew [sic, Petigrew] on 28 Jun 1850 [less reliable date than one in above Stultz books]; married (2) Isabel (maiden name unknown).

Check, but may be another: "Sarah Bentley", b. Jul 1848 'of' Letcher, KY - Ancestral File by 3 different submitters; none knew her parents, but have carried on with Sarah's marriage 18 Mar 1870 in Letcher Co, KY to Wm James *Yonts; listed are 3 YONTS children & spouses. The above and other various records need to be researched and reconciled.
