The`ve changed it recently and it is somewhat confusing, but if you search by name and add a residence you can find a lot. This brings up primarily census listings first, but if you click Collections down the page and Birth Marriages and Deaths there it brings up those records. Family Search marriage and death records often have parents names depending on location, as in the ones I posted. Its hit and miss depending on state, but I`ve often found it useful.
