Thank you for your reply. I did know the information from the 1880 census, but I didn't know how to get the message out that William W. Williams and his spouse apparently divorced and she remarried J.R. Britton and those two lived in Sumner County, KS until they died in Oct. 1917 and Jan. 1918. I don't know the whereabouts of William W. Williams after 1885 in Wichita, Sedwick, KS. Some people have connected him to another spouse--also a Mary (first wife was Mary Louise Rodman, but went by "Minnie")and have him living in Iowa. The problem is that some people have the death of the first wife in their family trees becuase they don't have the information about the two families that I have from the online obituary. I need to consult with the person who posted that item identified as ID 1044 and named Mary Louise Rodman.
There are many things I don't know about the Williams/Rodman/Britton relationships, but I know quite a bit about the Rodman/Britton family after 1905. Their marriage was supposedly around 1888-1889, but I cannot locate them anywhere after that date until 1905.
For those of you who want to know more about what I know about this couple and their children, please contact me via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
. I don't want to leave an unduly long post.
